Bio

Mr. Barwick received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Wake Forest University where he was a member of the Honor Council and Sigma Phi Epislon fraternity.  While in law school, Mr. Barwick was a member of Phi Delta Phi fraternity.

Mr. Barwick served in the U.S. Army and the North Carolina Army National Guard and was discharged as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He is a Certified Superior Court Mediator and is admitted to practice before all North Carolina Courts, the U.S. Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. 

      He is married and has two sons.

In June 2010, Mr. Barwick was inducted into the North Carolina Bar Association’s General Practice Hall of Fame. A link to the induction is below.
